Reservations received
and processed through InnLink's systems are delivered to the property
a variety of ways depending on the customer's ability to receive the reservation
transaction. Please review the reservation transmission methods available
below. It is very important to note that the one-way and two-way InnLink/Property
Management System (PMS) interfaces depend not only on the brand of PMS
installed at a property, but also on the version/level of PMS installed
at the property.
- FAX Transmission*
- One way transmission of a reservation record to a hotel via fax
- Internet Transmission*
- InnLink also utilizes the Internet for reservation record transmission.
The property must have a valid ISP (Internet Service Provider) web address,
and email box in order to receive reservations using the Internet
- One-Way PMS (Property
Management System) Interface* - InnLink provides a one-way reservation
transmission interface to a growing number of PMS systems. The reservation
record is transmitted to the property-based PMS electronically
- Two-Way PMS (Property
Management System) Interface* - InnLink provides a two-way PMS interface
with a select list of Property Management Systems. The two-way interface
not only provides for the features available in the one-way interface,
but also enables the property to maintain a single image database of inventory,
availability, and guest rewards
*NOTE:
Transmission of reservations via any of the methods listed above may
require additional hardware, communications equipment, and/or fees from
InnLink or your PMS provider. Check with your InnLink representative
regarding your property's specific systems.
